It is the time where we get closer to Allah by worshiping and seeking forgiveness; a time to strengthen the family ties and the ummah. The beauty of Ramadan is experienced together with family. For those of us who have chosen Islam against the will of family and friends, Ramadan can sometimes be an isolating experience. Observing fast, iftar and prayers should not be done alone if we want to strengthen our community. This year Care 4 Converts will be hosting an Adopt-A-Convert Program for the duration of Ramadan to match a convert with a hosting family. Converts! Join now to experience Ramadan with a family.
